Mathiak, her husband Marty and their Jack Russell terriers' Reagan & Timber reside in Spalding County. Their son, Michael now lives in New York.
Rep. Mathiak represents Spalding County, Woolsey in Fayette County as well as Hampton in Henry County. She attends Rock Springs Church in Milner and enjoys UGA football.
